On Hampstead Road, Camden, I spied a little lost Lamb on the pavement. It is Lamb’s self-titled 1996 debut album. In their review of this release,
Rolling Stone magazine pronounced that “electronica is a worthy heir to more time-tested musical genres – and not just a fluke of computer literacy”. An important part of the CD is missing. Unlikely to play.
Do you think Rolling Stone was being deliberately oblique in their comments, or was there more context? I mean thanks for your views on electronica and all that, but what of Lamb?
